I guys, I'm new to the AR game.  I can't afford to buy the rifle all at once so I put in paperwork at my local gun store so I can order a receiver.  They recommended bushmaster's.  It seems a bit pricier than other items but seems to be consistently in stock.  Is there anything more economical or should I just spring for the bushmaster lower.  I'm currently looking at the following product on their site http://www.bushmaster.com/products.asp?cat=5 : Bushmaster XM15-E2S Lower Receiver Assembly with Pistol Grip.  Let me know what you guys think.  Thanks.

-Scott.

Bushy's are solid, well known name brand, you can't go wrong there, especailly if you sell it.

Having said that, you could order an Essential Arms Lower, and a LPK and assemble it yourself for $105 less than the $280 Bushmaster is asking.(assuming the gun shop is charging you the $280 list)   I really like the EA lowers I've purchased- -good and dark black finish, well finished receiver.
