I've been looking on several sites for a bolt carrier. I noticed some sights like JP have bolt carriers and bolt carriers with key. What is the difference between a bolt carrier and a bolt carrier w/key?

I am assuming if you order the bolt carrier stripped, you have to purchase and install the key. From looking at other sites, it ppears most have the key installed and just don't mention it in the description.
