Started my first AR/first AR build back in March.  Took about 3 months, several "budget discussions" with the wife and daily browsing of the EE.

Superior Arms stripped lower
DPMS lpk
CAA CBS stock
CMMG upper/barrel
CMMG BCG
Magpul MOE handguard
Magpul rear MBUS

Pulled the trigger during lunch at our team's quarterly quals last week and she was on the paper and in the X after 10 rounds.

I'm already planning the next one...damn BRD!

Looks good, but you need to move BUIS back one notch.

It looks like the MBUS should go further back but it would be sitting on the charging handle.

Thanks for the positive responses.  ARFCOM is what gave me the confidence to try the build instead of buying one off the shelf!

I finished mine a few months ago.  I thought the same about my BUIS but went with the directions ( all the way back ).  It does not interfere with the charge handle at all.
