I just purchased this kit to make sure I had everything I needed. Rick is a super great guy and I look forward to putting together my lower with the right tools from the get go. Good Luck and have fun!

So is that all you need as far as punch goes, is just that one?

I hope to not use a punch at all unless absolutely necessary. Here is a great do it yourself thread demonstrating the vice grip method.

Well, you have to get the old pins out, first.

I used only 3 punch sizes,(3/32", 1/8", 5/32")...It helps to have both, roll pin punches and regular pin punches.

you'll want starter punches too for the difficult pins, also a short shaft 1/16" pin punch to start gas tube roll pins.
