The idea was do build the Army verison of DMR, and to have OD color scheme
Essential Arms lower & upper EA BCG DPMS LPK DPMS buttstock YHM 12 handguard standard A2 flash standard FSB - set screws CLE - 20 in chrome molly - fluted - DMR profile. Super Sniper Scope - came off bolt gun, and mounts are too low. I have OD Gun Kote to paint LPK and hand guard, but too anxious to shoot, so that will be later. Not the best picture. I am going to take some "modeling" pics when I get it outdoors.

Great job on that build. I like the paint job on your receivers. It matches the furniture pretty well. Are you going to get some rail covers/panels/ladders to put on there? It looks like it would be a little rough to hold the handguard. Black ladders on an OD handguard would look pretty sweet. Just saying.

I have on order hand guard covers, but OD. After I get the satisfaction of shooting it, I will put a different scope on, bipod, a BU sight. And do some painting using Gun Kote. You know its not the putting togather, its finding the parts that is the challenge. I pray for the day, when I can dream of an AR, order the parts that day, and have them in in week. I used to live in a country like that not more than a year ago. While waiting on the parts for this gun, I obtained 2 more lowers. One will be for a 6.8 SPC Extreme upper that is on order. |
