I was lucky enough to pick up one of the 14.5 LMTs from Bravo Company last week
I live in Jersey so I had to pin the moe stock 
And here is the Troy muzzle brake attached with 1200 silver solder. And I don't care if it doesnt look pretty, its not supposed too :-) 
I am also running a troy buis, and im waiting for my eotech 517 to come in, and magpul moe handguards. |

I got a chance to handle one of the S&W MOE rifles at the gun shop today and it was pretty light compared to other M4 style rifles. The MOE handguards feel nice in the hand, though have some small amount of play like most plastic handguards do. Great for going lightweight, but I definitely wouldn't be mounting anything precision on them, be it any kind of optics or laser sights. People have discussed mounting the MBUS on the front in the Magpul forum and Magpul themselves advised against it for that fact. If/When they come out with it in mid length, I'll have to get a set though. |
