Guys,
I ordered a lpk from White Oak and it didn;t come with any of the trigger assembly parts!! Thye explanation I got was their customers usually use match triggers so they don;lt include and trigger parts with their LPK's. That would have been nice to know.

Anyway, where can i get these parts to complete my LPK? Anyone out there replace their trigger and have some stock trigger parts they want to get rid of?  You can IM or e-mail me. Thanks.
Steve

LPK's are still kind of hard to get use the old adage 1 in the hand is worth 2 in the bush. Look on the EE or buy a nice trigger try PKFirearms they should be able to hook you up. Or if you do find a complete LPK that meets your requirements sell this one on EE there are alot of guys crying for these things still. How much did you pay btw?

Don't blame WOA for your ignorance..it states in their catalog and on their website that their LPK's are shipped without trigger. I would also think the $40 price might have been a give away. Why blame them for your mistake???

True, i think pkfirearms sells alot of these lpks and pre election they had an option to add a RRA trigger if i remember correctly.

I didn't buy from their mag I called and they didn't mention it when I ordered. I love it when people get all righteous on posts!

Not throwing them under the bus, I love the barrel they sent me, just wished the guy on the phone would have made it clear when I ordered.

Thanks for all the other suggestions.

The majority of their customers are accomplished shooters and builders that know what they want. They assume when you call they don't need to walk you through each purchase. As far as a FCG to finish your project I would call WOA back and order one of their reworked RRA 2 stage . They are as good as it gets for the price...Don't forget to ask if they come with pins...

Correct

It is only in the last couple years the tactical crowd really started paying attention. When a couple of the big shops like adco,PK and others put them in the lineup people instantly assumed they were good to go(which is correct)

I cant imagine how busy they have become.

As far as I know his LPK's have always been triggerless. Most of the high power guys have a couple prized triggers and swap them around as needed

I and others have had good luck ordering individual parts found in the LPK from RRA.  There prices are good enough that even individually its only a few dollars more total than the cost of a kit.  Wait from RRA has varied from 1-3 weeks, depending on the time in the rush when its been ordered.

Good point, my WOA service rifle currently has a Geissele, but when I originally built the lower it had a WOA/RRA....a trigger is the single best thing you can do to an AR to improve it's accuracy, just my HO though.....

Once again thanks for the info. RRA is way out on parts but they are on order. Also contacted Bill Springfield for one of his trigger assemblies. Any thoughts on the option of a 3lb or 4lb trigger break for a predator hunting rifle?

I suggest one of the AR Gold triggers that are available from Brownells.  If you have an FFL you get a nice discount.  I am super sensitive to triggers.  So, I tuned my AR Golds up.  I polished the sear with red rouge to a mirror finish and set the engagement back by 1/2 and the trigger weight back the 2 threads from the rear of the adjustment.  The trigger feels very good.  Beware, I've not yet tested them for live fire.  I like a very light and clean trigger break.  I find that it is very important to test for follow through fire, when setting very light triggers.  I'am not encouraging you to set your triggers light.  I'am am ojnly reportin my progress.  Don't do what I have reported.

WOA is AOK in my book.  I've ordered and received two uppers.  The upper are great.  I screwed around with the order Ad infinitum, and John patiently answered my new bee questions.  You can't go wrong with these guys.  I'm going to order a 6.5PPC Improved, as soon as they get some breathing room.

The WOA is a really nice LPK.  Nice finish.  I had a DMR on order so I really didn't need the FCG.
