After reading up on the proccess here I've finally put together my first AR lower.  I can't believe how simple it was.  Everything went together just as it was supposed to.  The only problem I had was shooting the pivot pin detent across the room...twice.  The first time my cat saw it land and gave chase, so I was able to locate it.  The second time I was having my wife help hold the detent in (using the razor blade method).  Again it flew across the room, and this time it is lost forever.  I ordered another few today, but I'm not in any rush.  I'm still waiting for the upper to arrive.  Also, I was having trouble getting the disconnector to catch the hammer during initial function checks, but after searching around here, I tried it with the selector installed and it passed every time.  All in all, I don't know why I waited so long to do this.

My Parts list:

Sun Devil Lower
RRA Parts kit
Magpul CTR mil-spec
Magpul MOE pistol grip
Magpul trigger guard
Mil spec buffer tube

I thought of using a razor but did not becuase it was too small for my hands.  I was also afraid of cosometically damaging the lower.
I ended up using a credit card to hold the pivot pin detent and spring, and it worked like a charm.
