| Does it really matter what stripped upper you buy? Aren't they fairly generic? Do all have hard coat anodizing and teflon or are they options? I have an A2 upper on a M1S assembly and I've decided to change it out with a flattop upper. Most distibutors are way behind and I'm looking for something now otherwise I'd just get one from Del-ton. I'm only a year into this hobby so I'm still noobish. Advice/suggestions. I saw JSE Surplus has some in stock ready to ship but I'm unsure of quality. |

Flat top without m4 ramps
Flat top with m4 feedramps Bravo Co wouldn't sell junk. And they're in stock. |

Need w/o ramps since it's a 7.62X39 upper. I know the difference in components, just unsure about finishes, quality, etc. I will check out Bravo thanks.
edit - Bravo says nothing about teflon finish. Is this something to just expect or an option? I want it to match my lower which the distributor says is "mil-spec hard coat anodized and teflon coated". Cut me some slack, I would rather ask stupid questions than get something I'm not happy with. |

| Well, after doing a little investigating. Those uppers are manufactured by CMT. It says they are hard coat anodized and are moly coated on the inside. Doesn't say anything about being teflon coated. These are the same uppers that Stag uses if you ever touched a Stag Arms rifle. |
