Does this look like a good deal?
I've been led to believe that RRA is a good company and this kit comes with a two stage trigger kit which alone is worth $120. So is this a good deal? Or would I be able to find a better one if I shop around and make it a frankengun? Also is spending the extra $40 worth it to get a chrome lined barrel? Thanks guys. |

I bought the same kit when they first started selling them, and I did opt for the chrome lined barrel. Also, it is the heavy m-4 profile barrel, and I ended up sending mine to ADCO to get it down to govt. profile.
I got the kit for $612.00 w/ the chrome lined barrel and 2-stage trigger. |
| Looks like a good deal. RRA got the contract for the DEA carbines. Chrome-lined barrels are easier to maintain; that's why the military uses them. There's maybe a slight trade-off in accuracy vs. non-chrome-lined, but it might not be significant for you unless you are shooting at longer ranges or in matches. Others may think differently, though. |

Sure they are a fine deal, hope you are ready to wait though. |

Thanks guys I'm probably going to end up ordering it within a week. you need all the info. go to rra industry and see that the wait for a upper is 6 months and full guns are longer. i have not heard how far out the kits are. i ordered a car A4 in early feb. probably will not see it till july. i have a rra varmint upper on a gun and it is great (minus the... well never mind). if i were you, i would find another rep manufacture that would get you your kit in 2009. |
