install a FSB? I'm talking one that's not drilled for pins. Anyone done it? Thanks.

are you just talking installing one on a barrel? Or switching one out? It's a pretty simple install, may be harder removing one...you need to drive out the pins with a punch.Make sure you remove them correctly as they are a taper pin and have to be driven out TOWARD the large side.

To "do it right," you need the capacity to align the FSB perfectly with the vertical axis of the barrel, and to bore/drill the taper or dowel pin holes through the bosses on the FSB AND the barrel.  That's the hard part, I think.  Physically, it's not a real difficult task, but the machine work is what makes it something that's not exactly a garage mechanic's task.  (Unless that mechanic has some pretty good machine tools in his garage!)

No, it's a dissipator barrel, mid length gas system and full length sight radius.
