NOTE: first time build.

Got the upper, barrel & hand guard (YHM Diamond) on the way. I bought a barrel nut when buying the handguard. From reading the sticky about mounting handguards, I will not need the delta nut assb - right? So all I need besides the float tube nut (which I hope comes with handguard) is the barrel nut - right?

I have on order the armorers tool and upper block from Brownells.

Cant wait to post some pics.

Thanks

The YHM forearm has it's own barrel nut. The barrel nut goes on then the forearm screws onto it. Then you tighten the locking ring and the anti rotation screws...

if all YHM rails are the same, and I think they are, then the barrel nut is the free float tube nut.

YHM barrel nut is threaded on the outside so the rail can go over it.

Gotcha.

Then I will have a barrel nut to start my AR-15 spare part inventory.

Thanks
