This may sound stupid but the last of the parts have arrived and I am starting my first build. Is there a secret to inserting the firing pin retaining clip? It looks simple, align the firing pin, insert the retainer and push. I am guessing that there may be more it than just that. I want to make sure that the pin seperates and goes around both sides of the firing pin.

| The pin does NOT go around both sides of the firing pin, it simply captures the firing pin by sliding between the two rear faces.Goes in one side of the bolt and out the other, when properly installed the firing pin should freely "float" back and forth but not fall out.Someone will come along soon and show you a picture or a link to it....good luck on your build! |
