Well, I just ordered the last bit of stuff I need to complete my 6.8SPC build... the LPK. Ordered from RB Precision, and the nice lady said that it would be sent out when they get the parts, possibly as early as 3 weeks. I didn't even need a full LPK, just one minus the FCG and grip, plus an ambi-selector. Ah, well. At $57 and some change, it's worth the wait, even if it ends up being a couple months.
Anyone else having better luck finding them? |

Your 2 options are 1) get on a waiting list or 2) luck out by finding one in stock on the internet and snatching it. Or get on a waiting list until you find one in stock somewhere eand then cancel your original order. Regardless, best of luck! Yeah, I'm still scouring the intarweb for a lpk, but I'm not willing to pay $80+ for one when I already have the most expensive parts. If I can find one at a decent price, I'm going to jump on it, to be sure. There's a gun show in a couple weeks, so we'll see what I can find. I might be able to pick up the individual parts I need, as there are usually a couple dealers that have individual replacement parts of all kinds. |

I can related to that. I ordered a del-ton rifle kit the day after Christmas. They originally told me it would be just a few months, well it's March 3 now, and I call them to inquire and now they're telling me it will be another couple months. We're talking maybe sometime next Summer at this point! This is getting Ridiculous! I finally got my AR lower receiver last week, but it looks like it will be sitting around collecting dust. I'm both annoyed and disappointed at the same time. I'm ready to go ahead and pay more for a complete rifle I can have NOW, and cancel my del-ton order.
Walmart's ammunition shelves have been empty for so long, they are beginning to use it for other products. People lined up 1/2 a mile at a gunshow in Manatee County Florida in Jan. You'd think if these gun & ammo manufacturers did their homework, they would have figured out they need to expand their manufacturing and hire A LOT more workers in anticipation of the political changes that were occurring in 2008. I think they killed the goose that laid the golden egg. I'm just wondering when this whole Obama madness will ever end!??? I suppose when everybody else has ran out of money and maxed out their credit cards. |
