I am planning on building my first AR in the near future.

I am willing to pay for good parts, and I would prefer not to have to re-buy any parts later (except, of course, if something breaks).

At some point in the future, I may want to purchase a RLL or RDIAS.  (Kind of depends on how much they cost, or if they're even still legal, in five or ten years.)

My question is:  are there any parts that I would need to have on the rifle I am building now so that I can use an RLL or RDIAS in the future?  I seem to recall reading something about some receivers not being compatible.  What receivers are compatible, and are there parts that might cause a problem down the road?

Thanks,
LDL

You will probably need an M16 BCG in lieu of AR 15 BCG - I bought the Young Mfg. National Match chrome M16 BCG.
