It "blew my mind" how much silver solder paste was at Brownell's .They wanted $ 41.83 for 1 oz.That stuff is really expensive.Anyone know where I can find it for less?

Go down to your local jewelery supply shop. Get the "Easy" paste. Ought to be like ~$5-7 for enough to do ~10-20 flash hiders.

it has to be at least 1200 degree paste or it's not legal.I want to be legal so I'm going to order it from Brownell's to be sure.I googled "silver solder paste" not very much came up Brownells did ,yeah there was silver solder paste but it had a much lower melting point.

"Easy" is the temp. That's why it's in quotes.

I ordered it from Brownells the melting temp is 1220 degrees.I know it's legal. They had some 1100 degree stuff too.I want my build to be totally legal no grey areas.I got a Phantom flash hider.I think I'll use a crush washer to add a little lenth to the barrel just to be safe.

How does this work?

There is some on ebay for under $20.  They had 1145 degree and 1240 degree and were half oz in a syringe.

I've used this ACE Braze Kit before. It's not paste, but it works great.
