I was putting my lower togeather, got in a hurry, installed the trigger guard in backwards, put the roll pin in the front hole, Well, after doing some thinking, posting, reading, decided to use the ''mini mill''  my dremel tool. Taped off the area's i might score, and put a 1'' cut off wheel in the chuck, medium speed and dove into it. Short story, cut it down to the roll pin, had to use a center punch to dimple the rest of the trigger guard, to break a little piece i couldn't get close enough to dremel. Put a set of pointed Vgrips on the pin, knocked it out, put the new pin/trigger guard in the CORRECT position and knocked the new pin in. THERE! Now, i can sleep at night, lol. I've got NEW faith in the mighty dremel tool. ME, happy camper

Have to tell you that takes balls.....
grinding the hell out of a new lower, but then what else to do?
I might have been tempted to leave it that way, then tell anyone who notices it that " this is the way all navy seals are doing it now"

Navy pretty much does things backwards anyway.....

Thanks for giving us an update.  Always nice to find out how things worked out, and especially nice that it worked well for you.  Good job!

Ha,ha, your right, it did take a little balls to do the final bit, was getting pretty close to the lower, one thing i will say, the guards are made out of some good stuff, it took a while to get it free. I was tempted to leave it that way, no one would have noticed, EXCEPT me, so off it came. Nice and easy , take your time IS the secret. Glad it's done though, it bugged me until i got the extra trigger guard and pin installed in the correct position.
