With the current lack of availability - or slow delivery - of uppers, I was considering just buying all the parts and assembling the Varmint upper I want, rather than wait 6 months. Most everything I need can be had fairly readily with a couple of exceptions (BCG?). Can the hive mind provide me with some suggestions on what I will need to complete this project. My specs:
- 18 inch barrel, fluted - .223 Wylde chamber - free floated handguards - "sightless" gas block (not sure what this is called) - flattop upper receiver - Standard BCG Thanks for your ideas! |
