Which buffer spring is longer, the fixed rifle stock or collapsible stock spring?
Does anybody know the exact lengths ot the two springs? I ask this because I just ordered & received three collapsible stock mil-spec springs and they are longer than my six other collapsible stock springs by a good inch-n-half or so? Some of the springs I'm comparing them to are anywhere from like new, to well used? I've never had a fixed rifle stock AR , so I really don't know the answer? Thanks Guys!!! teamroper |

Thanks Guys!!! teamroper I have just tried a new type of buffer spring. It's a David Tubb's SpeedLock Systems flat wire buffer spring. It's the best buffer spring I have ever used to date and no spring noise and one spring is used in the carbine and standard stocks. They are tested and the spring will take 500,000 compression cycles, a stock spring will take 10,000 compression cycles. Mike |
