| Brand new to the AR regime. Just bought my first AR lower. Got the Stag Lower complete with the LPK for $260. I think it's a little high, but not much else is available. Any opinions of what upper to get for it? I'm looking for a long range rifle, (I've got my AK to cover 200meters and less) |

you can still be under $800 with an
armalite 20" a4 and a good 4x |

i've been very happy with both my J&T an Del-Ton kits. If you really want to reach out and touch, while keeping a relatively lightweight rifle, I would talk with superior barrels as they seem to have some really nice products that i have hear very good reviews of. MSTN can also build you some high quality equipment.

Build it like you'll take it to the grave. Sounds like you did alright, especially now. Not sure what to recommend, I'm putting together a couple of Vltor MURs right now. I'd say get what your wallet can afford among the recommendations. |

No guys I'm not a name brand snob. I only have one solid stag Bushmaster rifle and the rest are Heinz 57
Shop around. Look at Del Ton, Rock River, Stag has a nice bull barrel upper, Model One Sales, PK Firearms puts together some nice custom uppers. I don't know about availability or pricing these days. Things are crazy, and I finished my bull barrel rifle in October. |
