i just finished my first build and im changing the stock handguards out to some YHM 2-piece rails. i have a triangle handguard ring installed now. correct me if im wrong, but dont i need to get a round ring installed. all i have to do is remove the gas block and slide the round one on, right?

i can do it at the same time i change my flash hider.

i think i found a pic of the YHM middy rails, and it looks like they accept a triangle ring. anybody know for sure?

Not sure but I would THINK they would use the round cap. If I were you, I would just spend the extra 3 bucks on a round handguard cap when you order the rails.
