Just tap them out. the hammer has a J spring that adds some tension but a little work and out they come...

I always use a drop of kroil then reach in and push down on the hammer and work the pin out.  You can tap it out with a punch either direction is OK.  Remove the hammer first then the trigger.

I like to push out each pin with a pin punch. Once the pin is out, it is easy to pull the pin punch back out.

First off, cock the hammer,

point the opening of the receiver down into your lap, ensuring the cocked hammer is pointing at your junk

Use a short punch and a heavy hammer, If the hammer does not fly out and hit your junk, causing you to yelp in pain your doing it wrong

I use a "slave" pin or punch, that seems to keep me out of trouble. I also polish the pins and put on a little lube before reinsertion. It seems that there is no one thing that works best on these triggers, but a bunch of little things coming together.

I think I pushed my hammer pin with the hammer uncocked - to take tension off of the pin.

NOPE ! small punch and a small hammer .
First take off the grip and remove the saftey selector
Punch out the hammer pin all the way with the punch first
punch out the trigger next
You're done !
Reverse for install

I have done it a few times without removing the grip and selector.
