I have a delton barrel which had a FSB on it. I took it off and put a gas block on it. Now I want to put it back on for BU sight purposes. But unfortunately, I lost the FSB. All I have are the pins. As luck turns out, my buddie gave me his that he took off his RRA. I went to put it on and noticed that his uses dowel pins not tapered. Has anyone run into this or know of a way around it? The only thing I thought of was to drill out one side of the FSB holes and use my tapered pins, but I dont know if this will align properly.

Thanks in advance.

Taper pin holes are not in a standard place  between barrels and sight bases.

nm, after I read your response I calipered center to center on the barrel and the FSB. They are off by about an 1/8". Guess I'll have to get a blank one and drill it myself. Thanks anyway.
