[ARCHIVED THREAD] - One Build Per Year?

My local funshop told me that as of 11/15/08, you are only allowed to build one gun per year. He showed me the 4473 form where there is a "build" check box right next to the "pistol" and "rifle" check boxes (for the dealer to fill in).
I completely remember the two but not the third build check box.

I searched here and found no results.

Anybody know anything about this? Was it snuck in or BS?

Full of bull. The new 4473 has an entry for "other", which includes stripped lowers.

Go tell the guy to read the damn form before selling another firearm or spouting that nonsense.

My understanding is that its time to find a new shop. He's not goingto get alot of business if the tells all his customers this.
