I'm building a 22lr on an Bushmaster A3, w/ ciener kit.

Does anyone have a supply for 22lr barrel-only? I have found lots of 22lr uppers in various states of completion, but I'm just looking for a blank.

I suppose I could start with a 10/22 blank and have the face re-cut by a local machinist, but that would be an expensive academic exercise...

On a related note - has anyone built a 22lr dedicated upper with a 1:12 colt bbl? If so, how did it work for you?

You can buy any rimfire barrel blank, in any brand you'd like. Send it to Frank White at Compass Lake Engineering. He will craft a fine rimfire barrel for you. Then again, you could just buy the entire rimfire upper from him, too.

Yep I to am looking for a 22bbl for a ciener kit. I have a ciener conversion and a upper All I need is a BBl. I do not want to pay for a complete upper conv when all I need is a bbl.
Right?

I know this is an old thread but why make a new one.

Anyone have a list of sources for 22LR builds? I want to put one together with a lower I have and practice shooting for less money.
