I think I kicked that guy off here for shilling.

If I am thinking of the same guy those are J&T kits that he has drop shipped or something.

I think AR15-Kits is out of FL.....Altamont Springs or somewhere near Orlando.

J&T is out of KY.....they are in the same town as Doublestar Corp. (Winchester KY) I'm pretty sure they are a DS Distributor

I emailed the guy out of FL last month so see where he gets his parts and he said they were all mil spec....Shaw or Wilson barrels etc. I can't vouch for thier parts

J&T and Doublestar are the same company. J&T is the original company and only sells kits. When they started selling complete rifles and lowers for some reason they started a new company"Doublestar" to do that.

Every guy who sells kits says they are "mil spec." I'll bet a case of beer that those kits are not milspec

Edit-I looked and I was right about who the guy was. Those kits are absolutely, positively not mil spec. Not that J&T isn't okay but saying they are mil spec is a lie

A tip for new guys If you find some website hawking AR kits and you never heard of them, compare the descriptions and photos to the big kit sellers and you will often find that all these places are doing is reselling someone else's kit, in this case J&T. Galati does the same thing but they sell model one kits. This guy might not even have any kits, they may drop ship directly from J&T.

THANK YOU for clarifing this!!!!! I'm shopping for my 2nd build, my first one was a Stag and I wanted something different....either Doublstar or Del-Ton at the moment so I've been looking at everyone feedback.

Do you know if J&T is a distributor for another company (RRA etc?) or do other companies like AR15kits.com get their kits from J&T?

J&t is not a distributor for other companies in the way you mean. They sell their own uppers and kits. Of course they obtain the parts elsewhere and put them together, like most manufacturers. I don't know of other J&T resellers, but there may be some. For the $ 10-20 price difference I'd buy from J&T directly.
