I did a search and couldn't find anything on them, but has anyone used their equipment or have an opinion on them?

Check the industry section, there are a bunch there who seem to have had good luck with theirs.

I have purchased a few of them with no coating (just anodized) and they worked just fine. Fit was great, finish was good on all but one and it only had an ever so slight nick which would disapear after coating.
