| guys I put the trigger guard roll pin in the wrong end the part with only one hole. The pin is 90% in. How do I get it out? Should I use a screw extractor? |
| If you have a dremel tool I'd probably cut it in half and then you can now push the remainder through so it will drop out. With 90% in already I'm not sure it's worth trying to salvage the pin by trying to pull it back out and mabye buggering up the hole in the ear in the process. |
IF you have enough clearance on the inside, this is the right answer. If you don't, then grinding a pair of end nips flush so that you can grab the pin might work. Shane |

Quoted: i did it to. pliers worked fine i spent a long time on the rest of the build to make sure i didn't make an error like that again. overall it turned out great. i guess i just got excited If you have a dremel tool I'd probably cut it in half and then you can now push the remainder through so it will drop out. Quoted: I don't get it. I thought you could put the pin through either side? What one hole part are you talking about? I know you guys already fixed it,but I'm just curious about what happened? He put the pin in the front, not the rear. The front has a hole in only one ear for the plunger on the trigger guard. This act prevents punching out the pin from the other side. I would have use pliers to pull the pin out. It would destroy the pin but so does the dremel trick. |
