There is a company that makes a bipod that is similar to the tango down bipod.  Can anyone recall who the manufacturer is?  Any help is appreciated.

TD makes two models that I am familiar with.  The two peice model has a copy out there, but I don't know who makes it.  It is the one that bolts to the side rails instead of the bottom.

did not like either TD.

I've used many bipods, I keep coming back to harris.

disclosure: haven't tried bobro 1 or 2 yet.

I like the Bobro but if I had it to do over I'd probably go for the Harris with a LaRue mount.

The Bobro only mounts to a rail.  The Harris with a QD would allow me to put the bipod on my bolt guns too.

larue just released a pic that made my pants tight.

a new low profile larue harris mount..... and a knob that I don't know if its theirs or another product I've never seen.

I like the pod loc concept but it always got in the way for me.

I have the two piece TD and the Harris.   The both have advantages and disadvantages.  I like the TD bipod because it's not in the way if I'm not using it, so I prefer it when I'm doing mostly offhand shooting and carrying, but if I'm planning to do a lot of shooting from a bipod and very little offhand then I prefer the Harris.
