[ARCHIVED THREAD] - left handed lowers

Not only am I a FG to ar15.com but ot the AR world in general. Now I have a fairly good idea what I want in an upper so my question is this. Can I use a left handed lower with a right handed upper. Or do I have to convert a right handed lower to be ambi.

No such thing as a left-handed lower. Just standard and standard with ambidextrous upgrades (safety, mag catch)

There is no such thing as a left handed lower. You can buy ambi selectors though if you want to use your left thumb to manipulate the switch. The selector switch is standard on the left side for use with your right thumb.
