I am going to pick up some receivers soon. Aim has 4 different makers. Does anyone have an opinion on these lowers? http://www.aimsurplus.com/acatalog/Receivers.html Thanks William |

I got one of the Aeros. Appears to be well made. Haven't built it yet, but don't expect any problems. There is a thread on these in the "Rifles, Uppers, Lowers, Barrels, and more" on the "Equipment" section of the AR15 forum. Aero Lowers from AIM |

superior arms have some sketchy issues that i have seen arise multiple times. take a look at double star, don't know much about cmmg but have heard varied reviews but mostly good. if you like, spend a little extra cash and go for a spikes or a anvil arms. I have both and each is absolutely great. anvil is 109 shipped. spikes is about 112 shipped roughly. anvil also gives you free laser engraving. whatever you want on it, so it really adds some nice custom touches. |
i 2nd the Anvil Arms, one of the best lowers i've seen other than Mega |
