I saw that there was a problem with a fellow member's del-ton mid-length. If I had seen that prior to ordering, I may have skipped it, but after doing all my research on here and building mine I have a good review. It mated up perfectly with my Spikes lower and functioned flawlessly today at the range. I was nervous that I was going to have a problem (either from my work or the del-ton upper) but the first 5 round group to sight in was about 3.5 inches at 50 yds. and at the end of the day, I had 4.5 inch groups at 100 yds. I'm not the best shot but I'm ok. I wasn't able to get that consistency or size of group out of my buddies Olympic or another friends Colt (which wandered a lot.) I shot only 55gr. .223 today. By the way Del-ton was great to deal with. I called the next morning after ordering, just to make sure there wasn't a back-order or any other problem. They let me know it was in the shop being built and would hopefully ship that day or the next morning. Got my shipping conf. the next morning with tracking number. my build: Spikes lower DPMS LPK 6 pos. stock Del-ton mid-length flat top upper Yankee Hill flip up rear sight. Prince 50 Bullet Button (thanks California) C Products 10 rd mags (again, Thanks) Note: for those with Spikes lowers-the C Products mags fit great and fall out when released. The ProMag I bought at another shop was a flush fit 10rd and fit so tight I had to break open the upper/lower and push it out from the top. |
