I'm considering a build and I would like to buy a good bcg. The two I'm looking at are: Chrome BCG from Young Mfg as seen here, http://www.rainierarms.com/?page=shop/detail&product_id=1011, and BCM bcg from Bravo Company... Is one better than the other? I've read that the BCM is really great. Also, without discussing legal ramifications, what are the functional advantages of a full auto bcg vs. a semi-auto bcg? Thanks in advance! |

The chrome bcg will be slightly easier to clean and will have more inherent lubricity. The full auto carrier if i'm not mixed up has less mass so it doesn't require as much pressure to cycle the gun, this will make the gun cycle better with light loads versus the required inertia to drive the heavier bcg. Either one will be fine, it comes down to personal preference and wallet size. |
The M16 BCG has more mass, and helps in the dwell timing vrs. Semi. Correct me if wrong. |
+1 that said, OP: the BCG you are looking at is tops |
