I just finished my lower receiver, and I have my Spike's Tactical Upper and Olympic Bull Barrel on their way. This is my first build and I'm a little lost on obtaining the parts for the Upper Receiver. From what I can gather- since I have the Upper and Barrel, I need: Gas block Gas tube Barrel Nuts (and associated) Bolt assembly Charging handle Hand guard kit Is there a kit for Barrel Nuts (and associated)? Whats the best/inexpensive way to build a bolt? |

You will need the proper tools and equipment. What type of handguards are you going to use? If you use the standard plastic ones You can order a pak with the barrel nut, delta ring, weld spring, and lock ring all together. Don't forget the pin that hold the gas tube to the gas block. |

There's no bolt carrier in you list. Are you including that in the bolt assembly? Don't bother trying to build a bolt. If I were you I'd buy one of these - Denny's Super Duty. Denny does a good job putting them together and they come with everything you need; bolt, firing pin, etc. Is your barrel new or used? If it is a used barrel I would get it head spaced. ETA - You'll also need sights. |
