Anyone know where you can get the Ops Inc SPR Muzzle Break? I did find a cheap knockoff I was thinking of buying  but I wanted to price the real deal before I went with the cheap one.

Someone was asking for the link via PM, but his box is full so I will post it here.

Jake, tell me what you think.

Anyone have suggestions on any other budget compensators? I have been doing some looking around but there is PLENTY I don't know about what is out there. I am looking for around the $50 range, maybe up to the $75 range..

I put one of these on my Mid length.  I works very well, no muzzle jump at all.  Like all comps it is kind of loud.  Overall I feel it was a good investment.

If you're trying to build a clone but want to cheap out on all the parts, don't build a clone.

Check out the EE, I got a great deal on my Ops Inc setup.

As others mentioned, Adco has the Ops inc brake and collar setup for I think $180.  I got one on an upper I bought recently from CSgunworks.  I wound up selling it in the EE for $120, since it was more than I needed for a muzzle attachment.  Looked cool though.  As mentioned, makes the rifle louder but does negate the recoil impulse a good bit.

You can try a Vortex...

Why not? Did you have a bad dealing with them? Poor quality parts? I have never dealt with them before. Whats the deal?

I agree, but this is not a clone. I have shot an SPR clone with this break and the recoil/jump was reduced dramatically. Plus, it annoys the hell out of the shooters in the next lanes.
