Ok, I have an Armalite M15A2 rifle. I want to remove the factory stock and replace it with a T6 stock. I removed the lower screw at the buttstock but the upper screw will not budge.  I even used a Impact driver on it. Is there something I am not doing correctly? from what i understand I have to remove this screw then remove the extension tube with the special wrench. This will remove the stock? Thanks

No special wrench is required for the standard receiver extension - there are flats machined in the end for a standard open-end or crescent wrench.  FWIW, the lower screw doesn't need to be removed to remove the stock - it only holds the sling loop in place.

The upper screw is probably loc-tited in.  Get the biggest, widest flat-blade screwdriver you can to completely and snugly fit the screw head, and the maybe use a wrench on the screwdriver handle.  If you can't get it out that way, or destroy the head trying, take it to a gunsmith.
