Is there any step by step instructions for installing an A2 style birdcage? Are there options for installing it? (i.e. no crush washer, loctite, etc) Sorry if this has been posted before but the seach functionality sucks! or I don't know how to use it yet. Thanks in advance, I can't wait to show off my first AR late next week! (currently rebuilding my friends) -Me |

Use a crush washer and just tighten it down until it lines up properly and is tight. You can use a peel washer if you wanted to, you'd just have to keep peeling until you got it to line up properly. The crush washer will be the easiest of the two and unless you are mounting a suppressor on the flashhider there is not much need for the peel washer over the crush. A bit of grease on the threads isn't a bad idea either. No need for loctite. |
