| I hope someone on this forum will be able to answer a few questions about a DPMS .308 build. I have a Shilen Select match barrel that I want to mount to a DPMS flat top receiver. I have the barrel extension from DPMS and have threaded the barrel to accept it. My question is, how much clearance between the bolt locking lugs and the barrel face? The gas block and tube are coming, but I don't know how far the tube overlaps the bolt carrier key inside the action. One other question, what diameter is the gas port on the barrel? ( rifle length gas system) Any help would be appreciated. |
