A question for the experts. I went to a gun show last year and wanted a lighter trigger pull. I took the lower to a guy there and was going to buy a timney. The guy actually said that he could lighten it probably enough without buying anything. He took the lower and all he did was take out the trigger and bend something and put it back together. It seriously took about 5 minutes and it lightened it up a lot. I figured he bent the trigger spring some which way. Is this something thats ok to do and if it is can someone explain what he did. Not sure if I'd completely trust an "unknown" man,..doing something that quickly to a trigger & hoping for long term performance & reliability...ya can't go wrong with a Timney,..but personally I'd try this first & see what happens.
