Hey guys...  I'm looking for some feedback.

I want to build an M4gery for a reasonable cost.  Here are my strategies I'm exploring to do that.

No matter what I intended to buy an essential arms lower.  period.

If I go piecemeal I can get a LPK without FCG parts (I have several FCG sets laying around the house) for ~$40.

6 position M4gery stocks for $75 to $95...

DPMS M4 upper with bolt for $399...

Totals up to about $650...

Or...

I can build a complete kit (from several of the "lower-tier" sellers) with the same basic setup for ~$485 and call it $100 for the lower, and I'm shooting for about $585...

Is the DPMS that much better  to warrant the extra $100?

I'm usually a kit guy, because I feel they are a much better value than uppers, but the price on this DPMS upper has me really on the fence...

What would YOU do?  And PLEASE don't tell me to buy some $800 upper from your favorite manufacturer, cause I'm too damn poor and too damn cheap!  :)

Thanks,  Ray
