I'm looking at buffers for a collapsible stock setup. Carbine, H1, H2, H3 etc. What buffer do you use for what application? Thanks.

I have a few different buffers in my carbines. Standard, H, Enidine, and MGI.

The most dramatic difference was with the MGI. Pricey, but it does work as claimed.
I have it in a RRA Middy with a 16" barrel. It also has a custom muzzle brake. Recoils like a 22. Does not have enough recoil to bump-fire.

Enidine Hydralic Buffer is currently in my 9mm carbine. I had some issues with not locking back on an empty mag in my 223 Bushmaster. Recoil was reduced.

H-buffer is in my latest carbine. Standard A2 fS. Works fine.

Standard carbine buffer in my Stag. Works fine.

If I could justify spending another $450 for 3 more buffers, I would put the MGI in all of my carbines.

Thanks for the help guys. I haven't heard of the MGI. Where's the best place to buy one?
