Considering building using:
-CAVARMS MKII lower
-LMT Monolithic Rail Platform Upper w/ LMT bolt carrier group (16"?)
-Larue Tactical flip up front and rear sights
-Vertical foregrip (?)
-Optics?  maybe Aimpoint CompM3

What's the group think?  Haven't read many reviews of the CAVARMS lower.

Might be a tad bit too expensive.

Sounds good I would go with a Vltor VIS because you can use ant bbl unless you need the quick change bbl...

Why use the CavArms lower with the MRP?  It'll work, but is there a reason you picked that instead of a regular lower?

The MRP is Grade A stuff.  The CavArms lower's main strong suit is that it's light, but the integrated stock isn't my favorite.

Just wondering - I kind of like the idea of fewer "moving parts".  The integrated stock and the one piece upper/bbl/handguard that the LMT MRP offers seems to reduce the number of connections and, theoretically, should reduce failure points.  Definitely locks me in though.  Can't really just change out the buttstock or bbl very easily.

I love my Cav Arms lower but it is part of a light weight build.
