Hey guys, I have been looking around here for a few days. Checking out post and reading through stuff. I searched but couldn't find any information so maybe you can point me in the right direction. I'm looking to buy my first AR15 in the beginning of May. I plan on using it A LOT this summer and while I'm at college, ie shooting ranges close by. But I don't think I need a heavy barrel or anything. Anyhow, I would prefer something under $900 or $800. I don't mind building it, although it will be my first rifle. I guess I'm looking for something in .223 because I'm assuming 6.8 rounds are a bit more expensive? I just need a carbine, preferably 14.5 or 16 inch barrel, with rail system, crane stock and iron sights. Any suggestions or links would be very helpful! Thanks a lot! - Rich |
