I am thinking about getting a WOA 16 barrel with a Wylde chamber.  Can use my existing bolt that has only seen 250 rounds?  It was used with a barrel that has a 5.56mm NATO chambering?  thanks in advance...

It should be fine.

Though for complete confidence a new bolt isn't that expensive.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.  What you stated does make good sense.  Thanks again.

The old one should be fine, But with a New Quality barrel I would get a New bolt to go with it and keep the old for a Spare.

If you want cheap insurance get a set of:

.223 or 5.56mm head space gauges
or if you get a 5.56mm chamber you can get the
5.56mm Field head space gauge cheap, if it closes on this don't shoot live ammo in it.

Want to find out what all the "gauges" are used for click this Head Space Gauge info link from wikipedia.

If you barrel many uppers I recommend having a set or at least the "Field" gauge to check the head space.
