OK, I have narrowed it down between a Sabre Defense, Sun Devil, Vltor, and Larue for a stripped upper receiver.  This is for a precision build on a Predator lower (made by Sabre).  I know the Vltor and Larue are high dollar and the Sabre and Sun Devil are about the same price.  Is there a need for the high dollar upper for a precision target rifle?  Which would you reccomend for this build?

I have a custom 24" stainless bbl on order and will be using the Magpul PRS stock if it makes a difference.

Thanks!

I don't think the sun-devil has a forward assist, I would get the Vltor that's what I'm leaning towards they look awesome.

For a precision rig I would ask the opinions of some of the precision builders.  Some uppers are more consistent as far as squareness when mounting the barrel inline with the bcg bearing surfaces.  But I'm sure that is taken care of for the high dollar units.
