I'm finally going to do a build.  I've wanting to for a long time, but my lack of experience has kept me from it.  I want to start with the upper, but I have some questions about the upper receiver;

1  Is there a quality difference in the different manufacturers?  Is there any I should stay away from?

2.  Where's the best place to get the upper receiver?

I was thinking of a RRA for $130.00 from RRA or this www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=7&f=22&t=510503.  The stag says that it has machined M4 feed ramps.  I'm wanting to build a varmint rifle, will that make a difference?

I appreciate any help

2.  Where's the best place to get the upper receiver?  Look at my avitar.

           You do not need M4 ramps, on your varmint rifle.

I appreciate any help

The White Oak for $95.  seem pretty good.
What about Del-ton, they're $78.
