[ARCHIVED THREAD] - CMT upper doesnt match Sabre

Well i got my upper for my build. I.m not happy with the difference in finish. The CMT seems more flat than the Sabre Defence lower. What to do? Could have it coated or different upper... Any thoughts?

get a sabre upper from PK or duracoat... my sabre upper is pretty flat though, couldnt imagine a CMT being flatter.

Did you oil the upper up?

Not yet. It still seems to be more flat than the lower from a spot test. PK sells uppers? It looked like they only had assembled uppers listed. Maybe I'll hit them up for my SPR upper...

Brush some CLP on there. You'll notice a big difference.

When they are dry they are very flat. A little oil goes a long way to evening out the finish.
