Finally finished my .458 SOCOM.

I originally got the upper from Marty at Teppo Jutsu with a Vortex flash hider.  I got the walnut forearm from Chris at Wild Cherry Woodworks, and that is where I was for a while.


Marty turned the aft end down on a Shrewd muzzle brake to match the barrel, and it looked fine, but I wanted the stock to match the forearm, so I got in touch with Chris at Wild Cherry again and we figured out a plan to match the Ace stock to the forearm.  I fashioned a fiberglass buffer tube cover and Chris laminated it with walnut.  After a bit of fitting today, I got it all put together.





Fun project.
