[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Garrison Manufacturing quality?

I've decided to try my first AR build. The EA receivers look like about the best deal going for a stripped lower. Garrison Manufacturing seems to have great prices on the uppers, but I can't find much about the quality. Anyone have any input on them?

I built a rifle last summer with Garrison MFG. kit and an Essential Arms stripped lower. I didn't get the chrome lined barrel or the grenade cutout on the barrel. It cost me $521 shipped and it runs like a chainsaw.
