| During a tragic accident my friends sight bas was broken. I have another sight base the problem is, of course the pin holes don't match up with the ones on the barrel. Do you guys have any ways of remounting a front sight base onto a sag arms barrel? |

The holes on each side are going to be a different side because of the taper pins that hold it together. If you can drill through and make them all the same size, tap and use set screws, great! I've done this a few times and then just felt that purchasing a new FSB with this already done is the way to go. www.model1sales.com/item-detail.cfm?ID=BPFSNM1&storeid=1&image=rfrontsight.gif&CFID=30486311&CFTOKEN=81915706 while $35 is steep, the work is done and it looks NEW and not TOOLED around with. I've had great luck with them. ETA: If you decide to tap it yourself, go to ACE hardware and get the drill bit\tap and set screws in one trip. |
